Saat ini kantong kresek merupakan barang yang sangat populer digunakan oleh warga di seluruh dunia. Di Indonesia, kehadiran supermarket di tahun 1980-an telah mempopulerkan penggunaan kantong kresek. Sejak saat itu perlahan-lahan penggunaan tas/ keranjang belanja mulai ditinggalkan, diganti dengan kantong kresek.

Untuk mengetahui berbagai hal terkait dengan penggunaan kantong kresek, maka sekelompok warga di beberapa kota di Indonesia berupaya mengembangkan sebuah survei.

Tujuan survei antara lain untuk:

    * Mengidentifikasi pola penggunaan kantong kresek oleh konsumen di beberapa kota besar di Indonesia

    * Menggali sumber utama yang membagikan kantong kresek kepada konsumen

    * Mengidentifikasi kesediaan konsumen & penjual untuk mengurangi kantong kresek

Besar harapan kami warga di kota-kota besar, seperti Jabodetabek, Bandung, Yogya, Surabaya & Denpasar, bersedia menjadi responden survei, serta turut menyebarluaskan survei ke jejaringnya.
